Calico Critters Games and Resources

I had a lovely email today from a mother looking for fun ways to decorate her Calico Critters house.

In the process I visited the official Calico Critters Site and was surprised at how much I missed the first time around.

There is a lot of stuff here, from games and activities (both online and off) to decorations and print-outs.

And on the subject of ways to decorate the Calico Critters houses, the official site has wallpapers you can print out and paste on the walls of the rooms and I can’t tell you how different the feel of the house becomes once you do this. It really adds a warm feeling and the empty shell begins to feel more and more like a home.

There are 12 different colored wallpapers to choose from each with a different color and/or patter. Some are quite plain while others are very busy with flowers and ribbons. You select the wallpaper you want and then you can save or print the PDF as required (yes you do need Adobe Reader to access them but that is a free download).

So how do you get there?

On the main Calico Critters Official Site you select the “Fun Activities” on the top bar menu and then “Playset Wallpapers” along the side.

While you are there also check out the coloring-in pages and the print-outs which would make great additions to a crafty project like a Calico Critters themed lap-book or scrapbook.
