Absolutely love the Calico Critters line…my kids had something very similar when they were young now my granddaughter has them and loves the little house and the furniture! However.. the age recommendation for these items should be heeded and adhered to..I even think a 3 year old should be supervised due to the fact that the accessories that come with these furniture sets are MINISCULE and are a huge temptation for little ones to pop one in their mouths. My daughter kept the little pieces and just gave my granddaughter the furniture to play with until she is older! Unless you have the time to sit and supervise your kids with this item and the others like it, I would suggest withholding the tiny accessories!!
